DSP issue 5103
When I start up the 5103 now it says CS4926 failed to initialise and when I switch to a surround sound source it says DSP not responsing.

This is a late blue screen DTS version. The stereo DAC works perfectly luckily and so does any analogue source. Any ideas or would I have to replace the digital board?

I don't use the surround sound much and haven't for the past week and it worked fine then.

Thanks

RE: DSP issue 5103
That code sounds like a part code for a cirrus logic chip to me, it's possible that either this chip, the power source to it or the crystal oscillator that drives it has failed.

Thanks, would this be at all possible, easy or cheap to fix?

If it's the chip possibly not, if it's a voltage regulator or crystal oscillator then it's entirely possible though it would need a competent engineer with a scope to look at it, I don't have all the tools I used to due to lack of space/change of career direction but darren at class a might be able to sort it for you.
