Cable break-in is one of those things just like faith. You believe in it, or don't or are agnostic. Pick any choice because none of it can be proven wrong
I tend to pick the one that makes me feel better.

RE: new mogami t-cable
For me the Mogami T Cable was a significant improvement and took a couple of weeks to run in.

RE: new mogami t-cable
It is the Mogami 2549 Neglex, the same cable we use in our interconnects.

RE: new mogami t-cable
Nothing came up when I Googled "Mogami T cable" so:
Q1: is it solid-core or stranded? Q2: has anyone compared its sound to the Linn T-cable? Regards, Andy |

RE: new mogami t-cable
I have t-cable Sylver and t-cable Mogami 2549.
For me; the 2549 is more dynamic and clear with separation and extension of ways. With Sylver, there many of density, he is less agile and it is less fast. I found that Mogami improves with several days. With Mogami 2549; I tested various RCA among which Golden WBT and Nextgen Ar. I love, now, the Nextgen Ar. |

It was done in conjunction with a full tonearm rewire and replaced standard leads. Overall a great improvement in detail and dynamics. I did find the mogami cable a little thicker and rigid than what I had before, which does mean being more careful when setting up suspension. |

RE: new mogami t-cable
Is the Mogami 2549 available from Linn as a replacement for the Linn Silver or is it something you or your dealer make up yourselves ? I replaced the Linn RCA plugs on my Ekos SE / Linn Silver cables with WBT Silver plugs and got an immediate improvement in sound quality.
