Kiko Router/Switch Setup
I have been researching the Kiko and therefore reading the Setup Docs referring to High End Setup of the Kiko.
I understand the value of cabled ethernet connections but I am trying to get my head around the value of routing through a switch rather than going straight into a four (ethernet) port router. Is the value of the switch to isolate the network traffic? Or is is about speed of transmission? I have an Apple Airport Extreme which I understand is a Router with 4 Ethernet Ports. This goes into an ISP Router for internet access. Am I really better of going through a switch in addition to this setup rather than going straight to one of the Ethernet Ports on this unit? Just curious, Cheers, Chris |

RE: Kiko Router/Switch Setup
it will be fine! Your airport is in your case, your switch and wireless access point!
