Exhaustive list of controllers

Hi folks,

Please could you add to this post if you have used a particular control device successfully with DS. Please mention what functionality you did/did not have (e.g. cover art, etc...).

To get the ball rolling:

Nokia N800 using Nokia Media Streamer - all functionality aside from seek
Samsung Q1 running Linn GUI - all functionality aside from cover art

Well, tbh, Nokia Media Streamer doesn't have gapless playback, which anything running LinnGUI does, so for me that's a quite large chunk of functionality gone out the window.
I mainly use an N800, but switch to LinnGUI on my pc to build up a playlist within the DS if I fancy anything where gapless is needed. I would guess that your comments regarding the Samsung would apply to any machine that can run LinnGUI, although doubtless Rik will step in and point out how little I know about such matters!

Asus eee PC 900 running XP - all functionality aside from cover art.

My guess is that the Asus eee PC 701 which can be also bought with XP for £238 would be the same as the 900 I have.

I use a Nokia 810, which while it is definitely sub-optimal, is as good as i have seen without having a full blown PC on my knee all night...

...but STILL waiting for the long rumored Apple Tablet to be released, there were hopes it would be announced yesterday, but looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer!
