Active Tukans on a Keltik XO
Anyone knows whether this experimental setup may work?
Tukans share the same treble/mid drivers so in theory........ ![]() Don´t have Tukans yet, otherwise I´d already have tried to make this bird sing...

Aktiv cards specific for the Tukans are readily available in several different flavors including, rumor has it, KXO. TTFN, Adam LP12/Cirkus/Tramp2/Lingo2/Ekos1/Dorian, Linto, Slimline Kairn, LK100, Tukans, Silvers, "K200", Loricraft PRC-3/4 |

RE: Active Tukans on a Keltik XO
Owning KXO for Keltiks I also have the user manual. On page 11 the manual gives the switch positions and gains for "Kelidh, 5120, Tukan and Sekrit". However I know none of those speakers so all this means is someone at Linn had Tukans in mind when the KXO was designed. Maybe asking the helpline is the right way.
KDS/1, Klimax Kontrol/0/nD, Klimax Crossovers for Keltik, 4 x KCT(nD), Aktive Keltiks, QNAP 439 Pro II, Twonky, Kinsky, etc. |

RE: Active Tukans on a Keltik XO
Sometimes it´s just nice to be thinking outside the box, especially when they´re a big as Keltiks or precious as KXOs

This suggestion was made a little tongue in cheek ![]() However, disconnecting the bass signal cable between KXO and amp would give you a very rough idea of how it might sound ![]() ![]() Let us know. RE: Active Tukans on a Keltik XO
Klimax xovers were available for Tukans. I believe there was a market for them in Japan.
Main: KDS1, KK1, Oppo 105, Klimax Xovers, Tundra Monos, Klimax 350. Second: Majik DSi connected to 109's in the kitchen, and Akurate 212's in the office, driven by KCTD. |

I wonder how many Linn made to that spec. A great thing for the tiny housed Japanese that have a weak spot for ultimate technology. They make their own malts as well but that´s another story.... |
