Not a straightforward answer, I think if I owned 350A I wouldn't be in any rush to sell them.
If I was buying new, I would have to think hard about paying twice the price, in fact I would not.
Still prefer 350P and solos though.

RE: Akubarik vs Klimax 350A
Akubariks are much smaller. Saw them (and heard) today. I would say they look much ... better than on the photos. the back panel looks neat, the cabinets are well made, and I actually quite liked the look of them. Still a bit unsure about open basket at the bottom (maybe because I know my kids would find it out within first 10 minutes of having these speakers around) and not quite sure about the bit cheesy looking chrome "columns" (but £3.99 spray can can change it presumably? Big Grin).
As for the sound, they didn't win my heart over, but it is not fair to make any solid statements yet as the pair I've heard was just unpacked yesterday, so they probably need a good few hours of running in. Based on "brand new" sound, I would say that even my Artikulates are ... quite safe, we'll see how the sounds of bariks changes over few weeks.

There is something that was a bit interesting/annoying/surprisng - they seem to be much more "forward" sounding than previous Linn speakers. I liked it a bit, but on some songs is just too much in your face kinda thing, and at the same time the bass seems to be quite a bit in the back (finally though, after 242s the Akurate level speakers can produce some bass Wink ). However, as few of you know, I never liked any 242s - but I think I could live with Akubariks based on this quick session Wink We'll see how they improve with few hours on them.

KDS1D>Silvers>KK1D>more Silvers> A350A.

Yes, so those of us who opted for Solos + 242s as upgrade (from aktiv Keltiks) will want to hear passive Akubariks when available against 350p. And what will effect be on s/h 242s/350s?

Yes it will be interesting, but solos with 242s or 350P do sound good.
There are aspects of Akubarik that are interesting, mainly the integration of upper bass with the 3k array.

I would like to point out that the stand pillars are not 'chromed', they are precision milled solid stainless steel. We are Linn, not Nissan.

I'm genuinely worried as to what my cats will make of the bit in the bottom. It looks like a source of endless amusement for them.

Rega RP6/Exact, Devialet 200, Raidho C-1.1 speakers, fancy cables and strange wooden grounding boxes.

I like that comparison. Its still a shame you're not doing them in black though. I think if a black array is ordered then the legs should be black too.
