High CPU usage Kinsky on W8
Hi,

I'm using an acer laptop on windows 8 Pro.

When kinsky is open and doing nothing (just playing music), it suddenly decides to take a lot of CPU. I notice this because the fan is starting to blow fast.

After closing and re-opening kinsky, the CPU is back to normal.

Any thought?

Hans

79 threads - WTF? I wonder if this is a Mono problem as opposed to purely a Kinsky issue? May be overly high poll times somewhere.

Why would the Windows version of Kinsky run on Mono?

RE: High CPU usage Kinsky on W8
I think I have found the root cause for this.

It happens when Kinsky is up and running, music is playing and when I restart the MinimServer 0.72 (via MinimWatch). Using a QNAP NAS. I think, Kinsky get's confused when suddenly the server disappears from the earth.

Don't know if it happens every time.

Hans
