What's it like, having your ears syringed? Is it somewhat unpleasant? Too scared to commit...hardware upgrades are less painful in other ways...

Klimax Renew DS > AK/0/D > Majik 6100 > Chakra Activ Kaber.

Most UK GPs won't offer it any more, unless you have something stuck in there, apparently. Mine don't, they just advise using softening ear drops or olive oil..

Just a little warm water gently injected into your ear to dislodge deep wax which for me does not clear naturally. Your roll is to sit still and hold a paper cup to collect the water and wax as it flows out. I have to have it done annually, 42 years now, and have never experienced pain.

It really is a revelation for the first hour or so, you will hear your shirt sleeve brushing against your body; the volume on everything you use can be turned down and the HF detail from my music system is stunning.

Not everyone needs it but for those that do its well worth the 15 minutes.

In Australia i have to see a Doctor but the procedure is done by nursing staff. I don't even bother to visit my local GP, just have it done anywhere I can get in quickly.
