James you're assuming the Kore is inferior to the Rubikon which it may not be. It is quite a clever design.

Of course the really good benefit of following your suggestion of Kore + Khan is that you can get the Kore and sit back and enjoy a whole new record collection and then when you're ready, you can then upgrade to the Khan and experience that sensation all over again.

As for me it's got to be Kandid next.

Which was wrong. The spec was always 211mm +/-1.5mm and not 212.5 as stated on Naim's website. this was the top limit.

To spell it out. Take 212.5 + 1.5mm you have a clearance problem.

If you advertise for an armboard to use for R&D rather than use real arms to develop a product you tried to copy anyway, you'll always run into problems.

End of. Try a Kore Aro if DavidW makes one.

No amusement John - Just more research required.

RE: Kore new sub-chassi
Has anyone had chance to hear it yet? How does it compare to the other Linn sub-chassis?

Mike, have a look further back in the thread where Peter gives a ver short review.

A fuller review might be very useful. But Mike you should go and have a listen yourself. That's the only review that matters.

Exactly, well both are very clever designs IMHO which is why I wondered what was 'best'

Those type of answers tend to frustrate me. I enjoyed reading the detailed reviews and comparisons of products like the keel, Radikal, Urika, Kandid etc even though I am not in a position to buy any of them. If the answer is always going to be ‘go and listen for yourself’ then I am not sure retailers would be too happy arranging dems for people who had no intention of buying.
