RE: MinimStreamer support for new BBC HLS AAC streams
So we have to initiate these streams via the playlist, they can't be selected from the 'normal' radio mode on the Linn DS?

For your next trick, can you sort the stations' content out (i.e. send them some decent M3U playlists)? ![]() KDS/1 (music) + ADSM (AV) -> KK/1 -> 350A + miniDSP time & phase aligned 345 rear sub KDS Renew -> Homebrew fixed attenuator -> 2250/D -> 212 and Sizmik front sub (bedroom) MDSI -> 104C (awaiting installation in my kitchen) MDSI -> Shahinian Arc (installed at my mum's house) |

RE: MinimStreamer support for new BBC HLS AAC streams
If anyone was interested, using BubbleDS Next, I noted the streamed URL for the radio station (Radio 4 in this example) and added this URL to Tunein as a custom URL. Now I can choose the nice new AAC stations from the standard 'Radio' input.
It is of course my local server, but the URL looks a little like this: http://192.168.1.3:9790/minimstreamer/*/...ourfm.m3u8 Is works nicely, just without the artwork. I really don't like how inflexible Tunein is! KDSM/0, Solos, ProAc D18 |

RE: MinimStreamer support for new BBC HLS AAC streams
Wow, that was quick! Giving Minimserver + Minimstreamer a try now.
The new BBC MP3 streams sound noticeably grotty to me, so it'll be good to get back onto the AAC streams... |

Simon, can I just confirm that only R3 in this list plays at 320, all the others 128, as it's the only one with "sbr_high" in its URL, rather than just "high"? I've added a BBC local radio station to my m3u file and that plays at 320, as does Radio 2 once I edited the URL to add "sbr_" 'troll |

RE: MinimStreamer support for new BBC HLS AAC streams
Fantastic! I can now enjoy all the new HLS BBC streams in 320kbps AAC on my DS.
![]() I made a playlist with all of the known (UK only) 320kbps streams. Note these won't work outside the UK (the international URLs are slightly different and are limited to 96kbps AAC+): Code: #EXTM3U Edit: if you want to listen outside the UK, replace the "../uk/sbr_high/.." part of the URL with "../nonuk/sbr_low/.." For those not familiar with MinimServer:
