Bluenote cartridges on Linn?
Does anybody use a Bluenote Babele cartridge on their LP12? Is it a good match?
Cheers,
DD

What is your tonearm? With a compliance of only 8*10-6cm/Dyne, this cartridge should be hard to marry with the tonearms frequently used on LP12s (Ittik, Ekos or Aro...).

It is an Akito, currently wearing a Dynavector dv10x5.

I'm afraid the Akito is to light for such a stiff cartridge... All those things about compliance, effective mass... are theorical but, given that there's not a lot of feedback about this cartridge and the tonearms it works with, I wouldn't take the risk. If I were you, I'll look after more "classical" cartridges.

Yeah, I hear you, and I'm not willing to be anyone's guinea-pig for the price of an MC cartridge. Which one to choose, though ...Sad
