KinskyDesktop 3.1.14 Sonos bug?
Hi
I'm still a Bute person (for any Australians reading this, I'm talking about Bute software and not myself; I'm actually a big ugly ba****d) ![]() Anyhow, I tried 3.1.14 in isolation and just noticed that I cannot play albums (from the Twonky library) on my Sonos. I could with 3.1.12 (by dragging and dropping them) and wonder if this is an intentional change or a bug? Bri |

RE: KinskyDesktop 3.1.14 Sonos bug?
Briain Wrote:Hi Hi Briain, There was a fairly major change in our underlying library code around that release, so it sounds like a bug to me... Our software should be capable of controlling DS' and standard Upnp/AV media renderer's such the Sonos device! I am looking at the Upnp/AV code this week, so I will investigate the operation with a Sonos device to see what the score is.... David |

RE: KinskyDesktop 3.1.14 Sonos bug?
Hi David
Hope you're well and having fun! No worries. Incidentally, I discovered yesterday that with 3.1.12, switching on the Sonos cause the Twonky 5 media server to vanish from the library container (after switching off the Sonos, then several KinskyDesktop restarts and about half an hour later, the Twonky media server appeared again). With 3.1.14, the vanishing Twonky media server issue looks to have been totally sorted. ![]() Bri |
