RE: Tidal Dropouts?
I had the same again yesterday. If it keeps happening I may have to change to Qobuz. But somehow I doubt they are any better.

Having experienced both rest assured I have not had dropouts with Quboz. I didn’t have too much of a problem with Tidal but it did happen.

Thanks for that. It is only occasional here too (today has been fine so far), so I'm caught between 2 stools really.
I prefer Tidal's selections and variety for the most part, and the Kazoo interface is slightly nicer and better organised. I also I think it's probably a local issue at particularly high internet usage times that would affect Qobuz just as much. I don't remember it happening to either when I had the free trials though.

RE: Tidal Dropouts?
Same here, I am based in Germany. It has been like that for several days in a row, always starting at roughly 10pm CEDT (GMT+2). Local network connection is not the issue for sure.
What is confusing (and somewhat frustrating) to me is that listening directly through Tidal's web page (supposedly in CD quality) does not exhibit any issues. I have been wondering whether my Majik DS (latest firmware) gets lost in some network protocol incompatibility, since the web application might use the same Tidal service endpoints.

I haven't figured out whether Qobuz has a good Jazz selection. Also, anything beyond CD quality seems sort of expensive.
