RE: Stamford DC Motor?
There's seems to be a fair amount of conjecture in determining what should or should not be optimal design for the number of markers. At the end of the day the scientific method would be to measure it and compare results. Wish you all the best with your endeavour, something I am keeping a close eye on for sure.

RE: Stamford DC Motor?
Being that I have been using the the Mober for over a month and set up was done by me I do not feel that it makes any differences if metal markers are off b0y a hair bit.Speed is about prefect
With the Dr. Feickert PlatterSpeed for Android-wow(DIN IEC 386 2-sigma):+/-0.05%(notch) wow(DIN IEC 386 dynamic): +/-0.04%(notch) these are much better number than I ever got with Mose/Hercules.I feel for a diy guy like me this is best power supply going....

RE: Stamford DC Motor?
good to know and as you have also noted this is the most accurate reading i have ever seen with the real time measurment... and now the retail price has been set at £1299 i think this is a serious bargain and it uses the same Maxton motor as the radical...

For the record the motor used is from Maxon, but is not the one used in the Radikal.
