Cara/Kinsky/Asset/Songbook: time search problem
Using Cara (xx23) & Kinsky Desktop, Sneaky DS, Asset latest beta:
Time search/jump works flawlessly in any aspect with natively supported file formats. As soon, as you play file-formats Asset transcodes to wav, you can ff/rew within the song (takes a bit longer, depending on the file format). But: once the song comes to an end, playback will not continue with the next file in the playlist. This applies both to Songbook and to Kinsky. In Kinsky, you see the "rotating wheel" inside the time display - it stays there for good. Hitting pause/play button does not change anything. You have to use the skip-button or doubleclick the next title in the playlist to make it play. When mixing up file formats and forwarding, things are as follows: natively supported file format -> ff close to the end -> a follow-up "unsupported file" will play transcoded file playing -> ff close to the end -> a follow-up "supported" file will NOT play. |
