Stiletto V.2/Urika Skorpion/Eklipse
Some updates for you all.

Our Urika compatible Skorpion base is just about to go into production and will be ready in a couple of months.

We have mad e some cosmetic changes to Stiletto in a large part by participating in discussion on this very Forum. All future units will have the uniform square corners we agreed upon a little while back. Also the finish will change to a uniform fine particle blasted finish; this works far better for the fluted option and gives an enhanced steathly and more contempary look for the flush version.

Here are some of the latest batch in the raw just off the line, they will be ready in early September.

Lastly, we will have another new product out toward the end of the year; Eklipse.

This is a sub platform for Skorpion, again specifically designed for Stiletto, our primary focus.

Regards,

Mark

That sounds intriguing, in what way will it be a sub-platform. Will it replace, for example, Fraim glass?

My guess would be that it's an absorption platform similar to what Symposium Acoustics have been making for years. That is, if the base interfaces with metal feet.

Interesting developments and I look forward to hearing them.

A cosmetic question, with a change in the finish to a uniform fine particle blasted one will it no longer look like that used by Naim?

All the best,

Richard

^^^ Richard, it will indeed look that that part of the Naim finish, i.e. the centre part of the facia panels, we already use it on the top plate section and chamfer of Stiletto. We'll be up at Sound Org soon so you can see one for real!

@ Dave J & John G, Eclipse will not replace Fraim glass, or indeed a shelf, it locks in with Skorpion via the feet assembly, more to follow in due course.

Regards,

Mark

Well, it would Eddie and if only I were not away helping LP12 owners in far flung places for most of October! RolleyesCool

So anyway, I've been trying to adequately capture the look, the beauty of the new Stiletto for the last hour or so and now the natural light is going! So this is the best I can leave you with for the weekend....... Mounted on a Trampolin2 for the purpose supporting it for the photographs:

And of course to the detail change that caused so much interest/debate a few months ago....... Nice job Mark/Derek and sorry for the lens distortion on my camera as the Stiletto is as straight as a die Smile

As we so often found with CH plinths doing justice to a creation such as this with a camera is a challenge, but it looks truly fabulous in your dem room despite the natural light fading. Mark has done a great job with those corners too. Looking forward to getting to see it in the flesh now. Hopefully Linn will get a Black Klimax Radikal to you in time next week. If not November will be the bewitching month instead
