And will we have to send the speakers back to linn?

Did anyone answer this?

£4800. And yes.

I think with Akubariks that the dealer removes the 'gubbins'* from the rear of the 'speakers in your home, sends them back to Linn who upgrade them to Katalyst and send them back to the dealer, who then fits them back to your 'speakers.

Mick

*technical term.

Try "Exakt modules". But preferably not when speaking to your GP ...

The concept of those poor 'bariks sitting there with no modules to protect their modesty reminds me of the wonderful nonsense poem Der Lattenzaun (the Picket Fence) by Christian Morgenstern. German members of the forum might be pleased to know that some of us benighted Brits know something of their literature.

I thought the technical term was 'Whatshammecallits'. Gubbins look different, but when you throw both of them from a cliff they do sound fairly similar which is probably the reason for your confusion.

Personally I prefer the sound of bodged gizmos but as I live in a cliffless area I have to resort to recordings. Sad

Is there no end to this madnesses? Cocaine addiction pales in comparison to this upgrade-itis.

Something to do with water, gas or electricity?

Undertaker - Coffin maker

Probably. I think you're all taking this a bit too seriously.

But if you use ebay, anything Microsoft on line, an inter-bank transaction, some telephony suppliers, many water / gas / electricity suppliers, oil from beneath the ocean, read one of a good many magazines, watching modern animated films etc., etc., then you'll be using a something running or created on one of our products. Its pretty difficult to avoid!

Near enough finster - we put lots of chips in our servers. No fishy smells though.
