I speak some German.
I think the question relates to an old Hamburg night club (Hamburger Linnies) and if anybody on this Forum knows what kind of music was played there back in its hey day.

I would be very surprised if anybody knows the answer.
But I would be happy to be corrected !

Focus did a Hamburger Concerto ...

Of course, Slap Happy vocalist, Dagmar Krause was from Hamburg & on their colloboration with the wonderful Henry Cow.

Another great band from Hamburg are Ougenweide, who are my favourite German progressive medieval folk metal group.

Apparently not! Last.fm even have a Medieval Folk Metal page

BTW - For UK members, check out Jools at the Albert Hall if you missed it on Saturday. Some brilliant stuff, including the finale of Van Morrison's Gloria with all the other performers joining in Big Grin
