Audiowoof scam alert
Just to let everyone know that I have found Audiowoof to be full of online fraudulent sellers,Please exercise caution when replying to any ad there.

Apologies to the genuine sellers on Audiowoof, they do exist.
If it looks to good to be true, then generally speaking,it is.
A simple series of questions will sort out the scammers from the genuine sellers

RE: Audiowoof scam alert
There are a huge number of scams on Audiowoof. I don't think it is moderated at all. Just looking at the Linn items some use our pics, some items are advertised several times with the same pics from different sellers in different parts of the world.

Not really sure why the site exists. It has no advertising so has no revenue but will cost the owner for hosting. I would suggest that it is taken down by the owner unless I am missing something.

Yep. for a while we reported them but it is just a waste of time, occasionally they are taken off but then more appear rapidly. Most people seem to realse that they are fake and not good ones at that. About once a year we get someone asking about one of the adverts but no more frequently than that.

RE: Audiowoof scam alert
Costs a scammer nothing to put up an ad though.

RE: Audiowoof scam alert
Hi!

I just want to clarify that we are doing our best to delete ads that are deemed fraudulent from AudioWoof. Nevertheless it's true that we have a big problem with scams. We are considering to exam all ads before they are published, but even then there would always be a risk (just like it is everywhere).

We have published a page with advice on how to avoid getting ripped of: https://www.audiowoof.com/safety.php The advice there is not specific for AudioWoof.

Update: We have now introduced a vetting process, and every ad is going to be screened before publishing. There is no guarantee that we won't do mistakes, so we will also implement a checkbox that you have to read our advice page before replying to an ad.

Of course we appreciate any further suggestion on improvements!

Yes I can confirm that list of Statements. Or to say it in my words: talk to the other and feel if he is a Linnie like we are. And listen to your Feeling. (If the Prices are too far away from realistic there is something wrong.)

PS I had a very "funny" experience trying to buy some Solos in Audiowoof. I asked him to send some Fotos and I got Fotos from the Solos that were in my Rack !!! So he had stored them carefully for some years - when I bought them via Internet with Fotos. This Shows how "they" work. It seems to be a Long term "Business" !!! So be carefully.

Good Luck !
