Im looking for a little bit of advice, I’ve got that upgrade itch and I am thinking of slowly going from an LK system to majik (as prices are now within budget)
I’m currently running:
Wakonda
2 x lk140 (bi-amped)
Genki
LP12 (lingo, Adikt, Slee)
Keildhi (passive)

I was looking at this upgrade route over the next year:
1. Replace wakonda with majik Kontrol.
2. Replace keildhi with majik 140’s.
3. Get matched Pair of magik 4100’s.
4. Go active with 8 x active cards.

I will keep my black interconnects for now.
I’m not a technophobe but do not fancy the DS route as I’m still in love with vinyl.
If anyone has any experience with this path or any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for giving good information , keep sharing Smile

RE: Upgrade path on a budget.
I agree with Dasher about improving your pre-amp. Given all of the changes I have done over the years, the biggest single improvement was always through the pre-amp. Definitely go to the Akurate level if you can; certainly the newer the better so, AK/1 over the AK/0: but, again, you are financially limited. As well, taking your Keilidhs Aktiv will make a huge difference, as will getting the upgraded supporting base for them. The last two upgrades are very affordable to start. You have a very promising system on the horizon.
