Don´t know. They look good at least, only positive comments from visitors in our house. The room is large and needs something to stop the echoes. The area of the panels is rather small, six times 60x60cm. Actually two IKEA foam matrassess behind the speakers made much bigger impact on the sound. My girlfriend protested, so I got her to buy me the panels. Hehe.

I think that the bottle would really mess up the soundstage. I would recommend that it be consumed forthwith.

Yeah, I know, I've had real trouble getting that properly mounted. I now have a cunning plan which involves replacing it completely with an in-wall centre speaker...

An in-wall may give you a totally different timbre than the floor-standers. I have yet to hear an in-wall that "plays well" with floor standers or stand mounts. If all three front channels are using in-walls then there is more of a match in the timbre. Is it possible to have a well-braced wall shelf for the centre channel to perch on? I think that would probably look good if you match the finish to the cabinet, and give you a little freedom as to the positioning before installation.
