That's true, but the ones I want are. This is not a show-stopper but it does make things simpler from a control viewpoint.

Any stations not available through radio time's search facility can be added directly to your preset list as custom presets (you supply the station's streaming url). See this thread

Thanks. Any perspective, from a Linn viewpoint, as to how I play radio thru uPlayer using Kinsky (my orginal query).

You need to get radio served by the media server. If you have a Windows PC on the network, you could use the paid-for version of Asset UPnP which will serve RadioTime radio as well as local files - keep local audio on the NAS and map it as a drive for Asset to serve.

RE: Add Internet radios to Twonky
For anyone interested I got this working by trawling thru many posts on this forum and arrived at this result...
Updated my QNAP 409 to firmware 3.1 (Twonky 4.4.17, previously 4.4.11).
Set up a sub-folder called Internet Radio within my Audio folder.
Enabled Shoutcast and all genres in Twonky.
Restarted/rescanned Twonky.
Stations now appear in Kinsky and can be played on uPlayer.

RE: Add Internet radios to Twonky
I can confirm that m3u playlists did not work in Twonky 4.4.9 or 4.4.11, but works fine in 4.4.14 and up to my current version 4.4.17.
