Konfig Beta blocked by Norton 360 v4

I'm trying to download the latest Beta fro Konfig to get BBC radio, but Norton 360 v4 doesn't like the file "konfig_xxx_rx.exe", reporting it as a heuristic virus containing threat "suspicious.cloud" and so quarantines it. As a result the whole install fails and I have to reinstall the latest full version from the website. Anyone got any ideas how to crack this?

You should be able to disable Norton for the minutes that it takes to download.. "disable auto-protect" / "disable connection blocking" if you need for the firewall.

I quick search in your search engine of choice should have Norton steps... you can also run a manual check afterwards to ensure no virus have got in!!

I had the same problem with Norton Internet Security except after downloading. Each time I tried to run konfig Norton would quarantine the "threat" as Suspicious.cloud. Tried temporarily disabling Norton, re-downloading konfig, telling Norton I trust the program all to no avail. Have given up and used a pc with different security until the konfig comes out of beta which will hopefully let Norton allow it. Previous konfigs weren't a problem.

You can set Norton to exclude the Konfig files from being scanned.

There is a solution in the "Cara 6 Beta" for this problem.
When installing Kongifxxx.exe there seems to be another Konfig.xxx still running. You have to close that proces and reinstall. I had the same problem.
Stopping the hidden proces and the update worked. ;D

Thanks AWSOME - that at least lets me complete installation. Trouble is that as soon as NAV is re-enabled it picks up the "threat" and quarantines the file.

Brilliant - this works! The way I did it was to remove Konfig then reinstall it, then to upgrade but creating a new directory C:\program files\Linn\Kinsky2 for the upgrade. Worked perfectly and N360 is now happy. So am I
