Yes, I am interested in your proposal.
I have thought a little further on, and I am, now, sure that absolute phase is important. My mistake was to think only of symetrical periodical signals with zero offset. In real life, when we hear a gun shot (not every days) the pressure begins to raise. If we invert phase, the speaker's membrane moves backwards and the pressure begins to lower. It is not the same thing for the ear.
I hope you will understand what I mean because my english is not "akurate" Big Grin
