Linn Sondek LP12 power supply
Hello everyone.

I have a venerable LP12 with a Valhalla power supply. This power supply has recently gone on the blink - by which I mean that it now only works intermittently. I understand that the Valhalla is no longer available from Linn. More: athena fulland Kim Giang
Can anybody suggest what my replacement/repair options might be? I'm open to any and all suggestions - that are not going to cost a fortune. More: biệt thự athena fulland Kim Giang

Thanks.

RE: Linn Sondek LP12 power supply
A lot of people are upgrading to the new Lingo 4 PS which means that there should be a fair number of older Lingos on the s/h market at a good price as Terry has suggested?

Or just go straight for the new Lingo 4 ... £1,450?

Unidisk SC | Majik LP12 | Trampolin 2 | Lingo 3.
Akurate DSM/2 | Akurate Exaktbox 10 | 2 x Akurate 4200/1 | Exakt dual-mono Keilidhs
Raspberry Pi 2 Model B | IQAudio Pi-DAC+ | Audiolab 8000A | AR28s.

You can get the Valhalla repaired easily, which country are you in?

RE: Linn Sondek LP12 power supply
Valhalla easily recapped & repaired.

Hercules II is an option at about GBP 200.

Then starts the used Lingo1, 2, 3 & up to new Lingo 4 mentioned above.

Depends what you are willing to spend. If your deck is pre Cirkus I would do the bearing upgrade before a fancy power supply.
