RED BUTTON LP12 - Hercules psu
I'm finding swapping the pulley over everytime I want to play 45rpm records which I do a lot a bit of a bore with my 33rpm only Red Button Sondek.

Has anyone tried the Hercules on an older Sondek are they even compatible or are there any cheaper alternatives as I'm really trying to keep thecost down on this deck?

Thanks again

The Hercules is the best & cheapest solution to your problem & works very well. In Mose Hercules II Gold guise even better.

Heed Orbit2 will do a similar job without altering the originality of the deck. It just supplies a 50/67.5Hz mains to the standard deck via the existing mains lead. The Hercules does the same, but to fit on a Red Button deck, you'll need to replace the wiring strap. It your deck is old enough not to have the self-tapper type top plate, you'll likely need to reset the suspension and all kinds of other jiggery-pokery too.

The 45rpm adaptor is evil, and should be banished.
