As above, the ones I have seen like the one here all seem rather ugly and aftermarket (which they clearly are but don't have to look like it!)

Has anyone seen a nicer/more visually complementary one?

It is useful to be able to see the stylus and vinyl clearly looking out for dust etc!

Best Edward

I‘d suggest something like this, works on batteries, no power plug and hence no electrical noise...
My wife loves it, surprisingly bright but adjustable

Cheers, the base is rather plastic but at least the top is alloy

Good idea for a thread. I use something similar to the photo in post #1, which got from IKEA. I have it clipped to a shelf above the LP12 and have partially hidden the cable under the shelf. I have tried a battery LED model, but it wasn’t bright enough. But LED technology has come on a lot in the last few years.

I’d be interested to see what others have found.

USBcharger so no mains noise. Less than £10 too.

I've got one of these

Rechargable with a USB port, it'll hang on the wall (hanger not included) , sit on a flat surface or slide under the TT (not while you are using the TT of course) Nicely adjustable so you can get the light exactly where you want it.

Actually, we have one of those somewhere, I’ll have to give it a try.

When you say the hanger, which bit do you mean ? eBay seems to include the white plastic thingy, am I missing something?

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party.
And bring your favourite album with !
