RE: Experiences with Power cords
@Tokenbrit

Right now things sound good. But as usual I have changed several things at the same time - (I never learn).
In the last few days I have:
1) moved the system 90 degrees around to the other side of the room.
2) tidied up the existing cables / ICs etc as best possible.
3) replace all the standard power leads with my custom shortiies.
4) moved the speakers much closer to the back wall (which is now an outer wall) following the suggestion of a local dealer.

All in all I am of the opinion that everything sounds better than before, but I cannot hand-on-heart say which, if any, of the changes are responsible. Nevertheless the reduction in cable tangle can only be positive - my new power leads do not touch anything else at all, but arch gracefully down to the trailing socket, completely avoiding all the other leads etc. on the floor.

I was comparing nordost walhalla and Shunyata Anaconda (2000usd a piece ) power cables ither it made the sound worse or no difference.

With Dynamik power , just forget about its a dead end

Cremona, How did you manage to connect the Shunyata Anaconda to the Klimax DS?

I was not using Linn at the time but a Tact audio millenium digital amp(lyngdorf audio) amps wich many proclaimed where paticulary sensitiv to mains noise, there for i bourgt the stuff.

I tryed nordost walhalla on the akurate ds, but it diddent work out very good, i think the sound got worse, surthenly not better.

After that i decided never to throw more money out on expensiv mains cables

RE: Experiences with Power cords
I use supra cable. I think it is a bit better, but certanly not worse. Was 15€/mtr.
Looks pretty impressiveSmile. I also use a ps audio mains filter that filters for my Majik DS and my Densen amp. That does make a differance. Now it makes more music, les clinical. But i don't know if it the Densen or the Linn (or both) that profit.

RE: Experiences with Power cords
Must say that regarding power chords and bars I have been sceptic.
Up to the time when (few days ago) I have bought an ex-demo furutech tp-615 p. bar.
When I have reconnected all the power cables from ordinary computer power
bar to the furutech I have heard the differences immediately.
Sound has started to be more clear, detailed. Dynamic in macro and micro
scale has significantly increased.
So actually I try to choose optimal power cables - and now at the first step I'm testing furutech FP-314Ag / FI-11G / FI-E11G as a socket -> p. bar connector. It increased quality and detaility of middle tones to me.
